Singing Mamas is a wide network of singing groups, specialising in supporting women and their mental health during the perinatal period. We create a space where women can come together, build meaningful connections, and share the joy and uplifting energy of singing in harmony. Open to women of all ages, we’re rooted in the belief that raising a child takes a village. When women support and care for one another, it strengthens mothers and nurtures their overall wellbeing.
This is a friendly and totally safe song sharing group where songs are learned by ear. No prior experience of singing is necessary; we sing for connection, not perfection! There are no solos, auditions or sheets of music. Just simple songs learnt by ear that will leave you feeling relaxed and uplifted. Bring your babies or kids if they're not in school yet. Bring your sister, your friend, your auntie or your mom! Come and find your own village in the heart of Wood Green. We sing for 1 hour and then we have 30 minutes for tea, cake and connection.
